TERMS  OF SERVICE

Initial BOOKINGS: An acknowledgement of the Terms of Service is required along with payment according to the listed pay schedule. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable after 72 hours. Dates and scheduled session times will only be reserved when an online booking is completed with acknowledgement of the Terms of Service

Initial BOOKING TIMES: Booking confirmation emails will contain a start time and end time selected by the client. Each session requires a certain length of time to be finished and is not to exceed the time limit. When reserving your date, please book accordingly. Any additional hair or makeup needs outside booked time will only be performed at the discretion of the artist, if time permits. All persons involved in a group booking (servicing more than 1 client) need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment. All sessions in a group booking must be at the same location and consecutive in time (no gaps in between).

Initial CANCELLATION: All balances, less the deposit, paid by client will be refunded if session is canceled within 3 days of initial online booking. After the 3 day grace period, should a client cancel the booked event or any scheduled service, the balance will not be refunded or transferred. All balances are due in full for same day cancellations, partial or full. If a member of a booked party decides to not sit for the session, the full balance of their session is still due on the day of service. If the artist cancels at any time or is unable to perform artist’s duties for any reason, all money paid will be fully refunded in the original form of payment, which may take up to 7 business days to process. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to @MakeupbyTajlia and any and all of its owners, employees and agents.

DELAYS: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for a scheduled session, or if scheduled session exceeds allotted time because of client delays. Emailed booking confirmations will state the session start and end time.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Hair/Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted time. Ample time is given for each session upon booking. Acceptance of completed look by client is acknowledgement by client the work has been done to his / her satisfaction.

Initial TRIAL HAIR/MAKEUP: Trial sessions, held Monday - Wednesday after 5 pm, are available for a separate fee. Event date sessions are charged at a standard rate. A $55 deposit is required to confirm the session. The balance is due before the trial service is rendered. Initial delay terms apply to this appointment type as well. Please call at least 3 days in advance to reschedule a trial session.

Initial SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Location of service for the day-of-event or trial (consultation) will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the artist needs to complete the session. A working outlet and ‘set-up’ table/work area needs to be made available for use by the artist.

PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.

TRAVEL FEE: A travel fee of $25 is required for booking. The fee is added to the total at checkout or via all invoices provided.

AIRFARE & ACCOMMODATIONS: All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, service incidentals and all taxes.

Initial PAYMENT: The final balance due includes any agreed upon expenses incurred for the event as one payment - no exceptions - unless waived at the discretion of the artist. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has initiated the booking contract. Acceptable forms of payment are: Zelle, Amex, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp and Cash. Cash can only be used to settle same-day balances. Checks are not accepted for any reason. Please be aware a service processing fee of 4% will be applied when using a credit card or app other than Zelle.

Initial LIABILITY: All hair/makeup brushes, tools and products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every application. Any allergies, skin conditions and sensitivities should be reported by the client to the artist prior to application and if need be, a sample test of products may be performed on the skin to test a reaction. Client(s) agree to release the artist, @MakeupbyTajlia it’s owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reaction

Initial SEVERABILITY: If any provisions of this agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with any of the law(s) of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby. 

USE OF IMAGE: Unless previously discussed and approved, @MakeupbyTajlia may use on it’s website and / or in any other advertising it deems necessary - any and all photographs, video, audio captured or recorded by @MakeupbyTajlia. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes. Client(s) also agrees to release name and contact information of professional photographers / videographers photographs and recordings. 

Acknowledgement of the Terms of Service serves as a release to client(s) photographer / videographer and authorizes them to release to @MakeupbyTajlia and its owners, agents and employees any photographs / recordings to use on any promotional materials @MakeupbyTajlia deems necessary.
